The Averechts during SAIL 2010..... of course!
The sailing ship Averechts is official participant of Sail Amsterdam 2010.
This is the biggest nautical festival of Europe, maybe the whole world!
After your group has been welcomed aboard, we will sail with you to the Ijhaven, where you can fully enjoy the festal fleet 2010, which consist of many beautiful ships.
During this trip, we will try to actually sail (with raised sails) as much as possible, as long as the weather and the crowdedness in the harbor allow us. Safety first!
On engine or under sail, passing along the SAIL-fleet in the IJ-harbor, will make you and your guests feel very excited, give them an “all hens on deck” feeling!
The huge masts, all the ropes and stuff, all the sailors in the sails, the thousands flags and the elegant casco’s of from so many different countries, will make SAIL a feast for the eyes.
And this all while enjoying excellent catering and drinks… you will never forget!
Our tours are fully taken care of, from the moment you arrive at the parking lot, till the departure of your last gasts. Besides the rental of the ship, all the catering, drinks, parking tickets (one for every 2 persons), route descriptions, boardingpasses etc. are included for all your guests.
